Chopra Certified Vedic Educator
I'm a Yoga scholar and instructor, and my experience in Yoga spans some three decades. I'm one of a small group of Yoga professionals to receive a Master of Arts in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University’s (LMU) Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts in Los Angeles, California. That graduate program, founded by Dr. Christopher Key Chapple, is the first accredited program of its kind in the United States.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Lori Rubenstein Fazzio, I'm also among the inaugural graduates of LMU's Post Graduate Yoga Therapy Program. After completing that program, along with two Yoga Therapy Rx certifications at LMU with program co-founder and mentor, Dr. Larry Payne, I became a certified Yoga therapist with The International Association of Yoga Therapists. I also received a certification in Dr. Payne's Yoga After 50/Prime of Life Yoga?, Yoga for those in midlife or older.
Travels through India
During my LMU graduate studies, I traveled throughout northern India, studying Jainism and Buddhism and experiencing India’s rich spiritual traditions and culture. Later that year, with my husband, Jake, who is a Chopra Certified Vedic Educator, I journeyed to southern India for intensive study in Yoga therapy with Yogacharya Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani at the International Centre for Yoga Education and Research at Ananda Ashram and the Centre for Yoga Therapy, Education and Research, A Center of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth. I also studied at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center with renowned pra?ayama master Sri O.P. Tiwari and Dr. N. Ganesh Rao, a master Yoga instructor and expert on The Yoga Sutra of Pata?jali and Sa?khya philosophy.
A Chopra Certified Vedic Educator, I've earned instructional certifications in Primordial Sound Meditation, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle. I regularly teach those wonderful practices to interested students from around the world.
Your Guide to Advance Your Knowledge and Career

I often craft guided meditations, articles, online curricula, and other materials for vast international audiences interested in advancing their understanding of Yoga’s philosophies and practices. I’ve taught at the university level and frequently work with corporate, academic, and other groups.
I love seeing students and instructors alike blossom and thrive in this deeply transformational field. To that end, through Ananta Yoga Education, I offer instruction, coaching, and mentoring to both students and teachers.
